Sun's enclosure. That's the Old English meaning behind our name...and it's the idea behind everything we're doing.

A glass of wine is concentrated sunlight, transformed through soil, plants, and craft.

Colorado's Western Slope gets over 300 days of sun a year. That's an enormous amount of energy hitting the ground. The work of a farm is turning that energy into life, through vines, cover crops, pasture, and animals, each feeding the next.

We're building that kind of farm on 30 acres in Hotchkiss, Colorado. We're planting vines, raising animals, and learning to steward this place well. And we've recently begun to manage a nearby Pinot Gris vineyard whose fruit is the foundation of our first wines.
